East Penn School Board Candidates Night, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main Street, Macungie. The League of Women Voters of Lehigh County and East Penn Invested Citizens invite the public to meet the six candidates for East Penn School Director who were successful in securing a spot on the Nov. 5 ballot. Four candidates will be elected in the fall, and will serve for four years on the school board. The position is unpaid. Come and hear the candidates' views on current school and education issues in a non-partisan setting. Audience members are asked to submit written questions. Stay after the program to speak one-on-one with the candidates.
The candidates are Alan Earnshaw, Rebecca Heid (Republican and Democratic ballots); Chris Donatelli, Garrett Rhoads (Republican ballot); Ziad Munson, Francee Fuller (Democratic ballot).
