The Colonial Regional Police Department, in conjunction with Wal-Mart, will hold the eighth annual "Shop with Cops" program Dec. 7, during which several local children in need will be given opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts for their families. Volunteer officers will pick up the children in a police cruiser. The children, the officers and their Santa helper will enjoy breakfast, shopping, present wrapping and a closing lunch celebration.
