The new school year brings new teachers and staff to The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th Street, Salisbury Township. Pictured are, from left, sitting: Jessica Brans, of Allentown, the new lead teacher for preschool, who has degrees from Kutztown and Wilkes universities; Jennifer Shingles, R.N., of Hellertown, who will run the health office at the school and has 13 years experience in urgent care settings; Stacey Pugh, of Easton, who will teach third grade and is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with 12 years of elementary and middle school experience; Joleen Hanlund, of Bethlehem, who holds an advanced degree in education from City College of New York and is a new kindergarten teacher at the school; Rithika Sesh, of Allentown, who is a kindergarten collaborative teacher and holds degrees from Kutztown and Bloomsburg universities.
