Robert W. Ritter, 82, of Lower Saucon Twp. and formerly of Center Valley, died Oct. 3, 2013, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Faye J. (Deily) Ritter for 62 years. Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late William T. and Cora L. (Kale) Ritter.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was the coordinator for research and development and managed the hazardous waste disposal program at Air Products and Chemicals, Trexlertown, for 41 years until his retirement.
He was a former member of St. Paul's "Blue" Church, Coopersburg.
He was a member of Friedensville Rod & Gun Club, Guthsville Rod & Gun Club, Great Swamp Fish and Game and Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Forrest C. and his wife Dorothea M., of Perkasie; two grandchildren: Melissa and her husband Brandon Moyer, and Nathan and his wife Kristin; four great-grandchildren, Evan, Adalyn, Weston, Jordan.
Calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the service 11 a.m., both Oct. 9 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
