Macungie Cool Down Car Show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Macungie Memorial Park. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. Celebrity Radio Host Bobby Gunther Walsh will dish up his famous homemade meatballs to help raise money for the Allentown Rescue Mission. Does class size matter? East Penn Invested Citizens Education Council will host an event "Class Size: It's More Than Just a Number." Experts will discuss the issue and its impact on education and student outcomes. East Penn School Board Candidates Night, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main Street, Macungie. The League of Women Voters of Lehigh County and EPIC (East Penn Invested Citizens) invite the public to meet the six candidates for East Penn School Director who were successful in securing a spot on the Nov. 5 ballot. Four candidates will be elected in the fall, and will serve for four years on the school board. The position is unpaid. Come and hear the candidates' views on current school and education issues in a non-partisan setting. Audience members are asked to submit written questions. Stay after the program to speak one-on-one with the candidates.
