Robert R. "Bob" Kalb, 64, of Allentown died suddenly on Sept. 22, 2013.

He was the husband of Dolores "Dee" (Bohunicky) Kalb, with whom he celebrated 14 years of marriage.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert and Betty Kalb.

A 1967 graduate of Parkland High School, he continued his education at Lehigh County Community College.

He was a talented athlete having played basketball, baseball and football for the South Parkland Youth Association.

A self-employed business owner for more than 30 years, he owned Lehigh Capital Access Inc., Allentown.

He was one of the originators of both municipal leasing in the United States and American Indian Tribal Financing.

He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

He organized the Ambassador Golf Cup Charity to benefit the Allentown Rescue Mission for 10 years.

He was a member of the Porsche Club of North America and especially enjoyed Porsche caravans.

In addtion to his wife, he is survived by daughters Nicole and her husband, Daniel Posipanko, of Macungie and Jessica and her husband Nick Belt, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha and Alexander; uncles; aunts; cousins; and many cherished friends.
