Gladys R. Sylanski, 87, formerly of Kempton, Allentown and Philadelphia, died Sept. 25, 2013 in Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Carl R. Sylanski.
Born in Kempton, she was a daughter of the late Philip James and Mantana Celeste (Kunkel) Kuhn.
She and her husband were the former owners of Sylanski's Bar and Restaurant, West Dauphin Street, Philadelphia.
She was an avid Phillies fan, but also cheered the Eagles, the Polish American Mummers and F.O.P. Philadelphia Lodge 5.
Her survivors include nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by siblings Fern Graff, Gordon, Karl, Virgie Schroeder and Evadia Rohrbach.
