Northampton qualified four golfers for the District 11 tournament next week. The golfers all shot under 86 at Monday's District 11 qualifier.

The qualifier took place at Mahoning Valley Country Club's par-73 course in Lehighton. The Kids Tyler Smith led the way with a 74, which was tied for the top score for the day with Emmaus' Carlos Fullerton.

Carter Test shot an 83 to tie for eight place and Anthony Cavallo sneaked in with a round of 85 to also qualify. With the top-20 making it from the qualifier, including ties, 22 golfers will move on to the district tournament out of 55 golfers who participate. Those who qualified for states or were league champs from a year ago were exempt from having to qualify. The Kids Kevin Kunkle was one of the those who was exempt.

The District 11 tournament takes place at Blue Ridge Country Club in Palmerton on Oct. 7.
