Donald L. Biever, 83, of Macungie, died Sept. 22, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Kathryn A. (Schaffer) Biever. They were married 49 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Russell and Florence (Erie) Biever.

He served honorably in the United States Army.

He was employed by Aldrich Pump Company as a draftsman and later worked at Mack Trucks.

He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and constructing buildings for model railroads.

He is survived by his wife; son, Michael and his wife Jane, of Macungie; daughter, Marisa and her fiance, Matthew Cella, of Sanford, Fla.; grandchildren, Timothy, Kristen and Sabrina. He was predeceased by brothers, Russell Jr. and Richard.

Services will be private. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
