Martha M. Devine, 89, of Allentown, died Sept. 20, 2013, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Roderick C. Devine Sr.

Born May 7, 1924, in North Bellmore, Long Island, N.Y., she was the seventh of nine children of the late Walter and Josephine (Mentz) Skuza.

She was a 40-year member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, actively participating in many parish functions including the funeral choir and quilting club.

Her survivors include children Roderick C. Jr. of Orefield, Regina M. Cannady of Slatington, Andrew J. of Allentown, Patricia C. Devine of Allentown, Colleen E. Ehresman of Harrisburg, Cynthia S. Devine of Dover, Del; 16 grandchildren; two great grandsons.

She was predeceased by a son Quenton S.
