On Sept. 24, the Salisbury High School Guidance Department held an orientation in regard to the dual enrollment agreement with Seton Hall University. Topics ranged from courses, costs and registration procedures.

On Sept. 28, Salisbury High School will host the 2013 County Chorus Festival 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Selected students from choruses across the county will come together and sing musical selections chosen by the directors.

Lehigh Carbon Community College will host a college fair 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 1 at their main Schnecksville campus. Over 100 colleges and universities will be present. You are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity.

Starting Sept. 30 through Oct. 11, interested sophomores and juniors may sign up to take the PSAT scheduled for Oct. 19. See Mrs. Kriner to sign up and pay for the test. Checks can be made payable to SHS. Any questions, feel free to contact the guidance office. There are only 100 tests; act promptly.

College visitation dates are as follows: Sept. 26: Lehigh Carbon Community College, 1:05 p.m.; Sept. 27: Lafayette College, 9:40 a.m.; Sept. 30: East Stroudsburg University, 1:05 p.m.; Oct. 1: Wilkes University, 8:15 a.m. and Ursinus College, 9:40 a.m.; Oct. 2: Penn State University, 9 a.m. and University of Scranton, 1:05 p.m.

On Oct. 12, the Salisbury Football Booster Club will hold its second annual car show 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be facilitated by refreshments and music by DJ Myc, Ricky Smith, and the Crush noon to 3 p.m. that afternoon.
