Motorcycle officer

injured in crash

Upper Macungie Patrol Officer William Rohrbach sustained minor injuries when he tried to avoid a crash just after 1 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 7300 block of Industrial Boulevard.

Police report Rohrbach laid down his 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King in the roadway to avoid a collison with a truck starting to exit a private drive.

Police say at the time of the crash, Rohrbachwas responding with lights and sirens to assist another police officer at an incident.

Rohrbach, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, was transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for treatment.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage.

Four teens charged

with having drugs

Nicholas Ibarra, 19, of Breinigsville, who was arrested June 5 for allegedly having a weapon at Parkland High School and threatening to kill a male student, has been arrested for allegedly having drugs.

Upper Macungie Township police were dispatched 2:47 a.m. July 6 for a report of a juvenile male allegedly attemping to sell LSD at 5635 W. Tilghman St., Upper Macungie.

The juvenile male then got into a vehicle in the parking lot with three others, police say.

Upon arrival, officers allegedly found Ibarra, of 1307 Windmill Lane, and two 17-year-old males, all from Breinigsville, and a 17-year-old female, from Allentown, in the vehicle.

Police allege LSD, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found during a search of the vehicle.

Ibarra and the other three were charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Police say one of the male teens was charged with possession with intent to deliver, in addition to the other charges.

Upper Macungie Township police say a 35-year-old woman from the 5500 block of Juniper Lane, reported three decorative lawn ornament butterflies with lights were stolen sometime during the night of Aug. 17.

from restaurant

Police say a white male, described as in his 50s with dark hair, 6 feet 9 inches tall, weighting 230 pounds stole 24 Philadelphia Eagles replica jerseys 5:09 p.m. Aug. 17 from Cracker Barrel, 7720 Main St..

Police say he took the jerseys when a worker was looking for larger sizes for him.

Charges filed

against driver

Police say William Ansbach, 59, of Saylorsburg, was stopped 6:53 a.m. Aug. 20 in the 600 block of Boulder Drive, Upper Macungie Township, for allegedly operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker .

Police say Ansbach's driver's license required him to only operate a vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock system.

Charges were filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie Township.
