Helen Virginia "Ginny" Spaide, 46, from Germansville, died Sept. 6, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Daniel S. Spaide celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary last Dec. 17.

Born Aug. 21, 1967, in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of Kenneth R. and Grace M. (Bittenbender) Snover of Hazleton.

She was a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and secondary education, and a Master's degree in guidance from Kutztown University.

Since 2001, she was a guidance and career teacher at the Nazareth Area Middle School.

Prior to that, she was an English teacher at Phillip Lauer Middle School, Wilson Borough.

She was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Slatington.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by children, Hannah I., Trevor D. and Victoria G., all at home; sisters Sue E. Crawford and her husband, Kevin, of Zion Grove, Cynthia L. Cusate of Freeland, Amy L. Katzen and her husband, Andy, of Media; mother-in-law Connie I. (Rossi) Spaide Ososki of Beaver Meadows; several nieces and nephews.
