Earl H. Dietrich, 82, of Wescosville, died Sept. 3, 2013.
Born Nov. 25, 1930, in Kutztown, he was a son of Harvey and Edna Dietrich.
He and his wife Linda married on that date in 1989.
A Mack Trucks retiree, he later supported and worked alongside his wife in her catering business for 17 years.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 0326, Trexlertown.
He had a passion for fishing with his close friend, Don, but was at his happiest when spending time with his wife.
He also enjoyed traveling, summer evenings on the patio, and especially informal gatherings with family and friends.
In additon to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl and husband, Jerry of Orlando, Fla.; stepsons Rob and wife, Crissy of Zionsville, Brian and wife, Missy of Macungie, and Kelly and wife,, Michele of Clinton, N.Y.; grandchildren Lauren, Meredith, Gabriella, Isabella, Tyler, Julia, Cole, Rachel, Evan, Sabrina, and Alex; brothers Robert of Hamburg and Clifford of Lenhartsville; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Stanley and Lee.
A memorial service will be celebrated Nov. 25 at a time to be announced at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd., Trexlertown.
