Calling all Salisbury High School parents! SHS's open house will be held 6:45 to 9 p.m. Sept. 12. Attend to learn more about your child's classes, teachers and how they work within the block. Parents will receive a schedule and will follow blocks 1 through 4, operating on a Day 1 schedule.

The Salisbury Girls Soccer team will host its Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast 8 to 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Applebee's Cedar Crest location. For information, contact Paula Ackerman at 610-797-9282.

The Literary Club's first meeting of the year will be held Sept. 10 during Falcon Period. Officer elections will be held in conjunction with discussion of upcoming events for the group. Students must register online prior to the event.

A graduation project workshop will take place Sept. 11 in the SHS library during Falcon Period. Students in grades nine through 11 may present Mrs. Burns with any questions about the completion of the graduation project.

Debate sign-ups have begun and will run through Sept. 11. The first debate practice will be held 6:45 a.m. Sept. 17 in Mr. Barna's room (126). Students must arrive through the old gym entrance by 6:40 a.m.

Class ring orders and measurements are to be taken Sept. 11, during A, B and C lunches. Rings ordered at this time will arrive before winter break. To order, pick up a form from the office.

SHS Picture Day will be Sept. 19. Forms have been given to students in grades nine through 11. Seniors will be photographed for their school identifications. Seniors can obtain packets in the office. For questions, email Mrs. Holler at nholler@ stsd.org.

Students can purchase a homecoming shirt through a senior during lunch Sept. 3 through 17 or by emailing Miss Piagesi at jpiagesi@stsd.org. If ordering via email, be sure to specify color, sleeve, size and quantity. Shirts will be available for pickup at the high school Oct. 9.
