Terry H. Shaver, 74, of South Whitehall Township, died Aug. 29, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Doris L. (Nau) Shaver were married more than 56 years.

Born in York, he was the son of the late Herbert W. and Earline R. (Ziegler) Shaver.

Before retiring in 2000, he worked as a tool and dye maker for Lucent Tech. for 44 years.

He was a member of United Church of Christ, Greenawalds, South Whitehall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David B. and his wife, Sharon of Bath; daughter, Patricia A., wife of James Hersh Jr. of Orefield; brother Herbert D. and his wife, Carol of Dallas, Texas; sister Beverly J., wife of Ronald G. Grothey of State College; grandchildren, James J. Hersh and his wife Jenna, Robin Hersh; step-granddaughter Staci Phelos; two step-great-grandchildren William and Mythinia.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Lori E. Lehrman.
