A 31-year-old Reading man died Aug. 27 when his motorcycle struck a brick wall in the parking lot of 7360 Windsor Drive, Upper Macungie Township.

Matthew Risell, of 2104 Orchard View Road, was pronounced dead 1:47 p.m. at the scene by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Richard Pender, Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim said.

The cause of Risell's death was attributed to multiple blunt injuries, said Grim, who ruled the manner of of death an accident.

Upper Macungie police say Risell was operating a 2006 Triumph Speed Triple when he left from a parked position in the lot at 12:59 p.m. and traveled between two parked cars before striking the building.

Cetronia Ambulance Corps assisted at the scene.
