The Lehigh Valley International Airport held its first Lehigh Valley Air Show in 16 years Aug. 24 and 25 with performances by World War II aircraft, aerobatic biplanes, jets, a helicopter, sky divers, a classic car show, static airplane exhibits and more. Although official figures have not been announced as of publication, unofficial estimates have attendance far exceeding 30,000. Both spectators and organizers seemed pleased with the event despite some logistical difficulties.
