At a special board meeting Aug. 26, school board members approved the following new hires: Richard Pearce, of Kempton, as a part-time business education teacher at Salisbury High School; Melissa Cerco, of Schnecksville, as a full-time substitute teacher at Harry S Truman Elementary School; and Kenneth Choquette, of Allentown, as head softball coach at a contractual rate of pay of $4,930, pending completion of requirements.
The board also approved the building transfer of Ellen Winkler as a part-time one-to-one instructional assistant at Salisbury High School to Harry S Truman Elementary School.
Diane Kasaczun and Michael Anderson were approved as mentors for Erin Moser and Sherry Wetherhold was approved as a mentor for Richard Pearce.
