Oh hello, it's September already? Well not quite, but by the time this weekend rolls around school will be in full session for everyone, fantasy drafts will be close to completed and it's still going to be raining every week.

Anyways, it's clear who the top teams in each conference are this year, but who will creep up to challenge teams like Easton, Parkland and Catasauqua in their respective conferences should be clearer after week one.

So without further a do, here's the opening poll for 2013.

1. Easton

Rovers start at the top of the poll this year, basically because it's Easton. They are always tough and physical and bring back a healthy Shane Simpson this year.

The Pick: Easton 35, Pennsbury 24

2. Parkland

Trojans will be neck-and-neck with the Rovers all season. An early season matchup with Easton will clear up things on September 6, but we start with week one.

The Pick: Parkland 28, Delaware Valley 20

3. Whitehall

Zephyrs start with a tough Spring-Ford opponent, but should be an LVC contender the rest of the way.

The Pick: Spring-Ford 35, Whitehall 27

4. Nazareth

Blue Eagles will have plenty of offensive fire power this year, but how many leaks they have on their defense will be the real question.

The Pick: Nazareth 42, Pleasant Valley 24

5. Liberty

A ton of talent is on Liberty's roster, as well as a rejuvenated outlook, but new head coach John Truby will have to prove himself.

The Pick: Liberty 31, State College 20

6. Catasauqua

Roughies are hands down the best team in the Colonial League. Undefeated regular season should be on the agenda, but winning district gold is top priority after falling short a year ago.

The Pick: Catasauqua 45, Wilson 21

7. Emmaus

This could be a surprise team this year, as Emmaus is looking to stop their under achieving yearly trend. New head coach Randy Cuthbert may be the remedy they need.

The Pick: Pennridge 24, Emmaus 21

8. Pleasant Valley

The Bears went farther than any other MVC team last year and should lead the pack again.

The Pick: Nazareth 42, Pleasant Valley 24

9. Northampton

Kids look to make it two straight over the Mounties.

The Pick: Northampton 31, Stroudsburg 21

10. Pen Argyl

Two headed race in the Colonial League pits the Green Knights at the bottom of the poll.

The Pick: Pen Argyl 28, Saucon Valley 14
