Twenty-one golf carts were damaged during a burglary Aug. 19 at the Iron Lakes Country Club, 3625 Shankweiler Road, North Whitehall Township, State Police Troop M Bethlehem say.

Police say about 10 to 15 individuals pried siding off a building before entering and removing the golf carts between 1- 4 a.m. scattering them on the golf course.

Some of the carts were found in the ponds and creeks.

Although one golf cart was located on Shankweiler Road, approximately a half-mile from Route 309, one golf cart remains unaccounted for, police say.

Callers do not have to give their names, and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
