The Cementon Athletic Park Association has been working hard behind the scenes.

A new board of governors has been elected. Serving as officers are President Steve Nemeth Jr., Vice President Jason Reinhard, Secretary Brianna Troxell and Treasurer Jennifer Dohanish. Additional board members are Greg Demko, Ben Kovalcik, John Dohanish, Dave Morekin and Jodi Nemeth.

Monthly meetings are open to the public. They take place the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m., in the park building. The next meeting is set for Monday, Sept. 16.

Sunday school will resume Sept. 8 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, after a summer recess. Youth and adult classes will begin at 8:50 a.m.

Also resuming Sept. 8 will be the Sunday morning fellowship hour after the 10:15 a.m. worship service. Volunteers to serve as host and hostess of the fellowship hour are sought.
