Catherine M. "Peggy" Folland, 84, of Emmaus, died Aug. 21, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Alfred Folland who died in 1996. Born in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary Anne (Madara) Fry.

She graduated from the former Coal Township High School in 1946.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a son, Fred and his wife, Diane, of Germansville; brother, Charles and his wife, Loretta, of Northampton; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Contributions may be made to the church, or the American Lung Association, or charity of choice, all c/o the funeral home.

A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 28 in the Hunsicker Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3438 Route 309, Orefield, 18069. Call 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
