Ruth M. Wagner, 84, formerly of Allentown, died Aug. 10, 2013, in Westminster Village, Allentown.
Born in Washington Township, she was the wife of Richard E. "Dick" Wagner for 63 years.
She was a faithful member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, and a former Den Mother for Scout Pack 22.
A 1949 graduate of The Allentown Hospital School of Nursing and longtime member of the Alumnae Association, she worked 35 years as a family practice nurse for Dr. Walter Stull, MD and Allentown State Hospital.
She received her American Nurses Asssociation certification for gerontological nursing and was a past president of Mespry at the Bethlehem Steel Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children John F. Wagner and his wife Nancy Baran of Princeton Junction, N.J., Carol L. Reppert and her husband, Raymond, of Allentown, and Richard C. and his wife, Catherine, of Montrose, Colo.; grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew, Jonathan, Michael, William and Andrew; great-grandchildren Jackson, Henry, Emily, and a blessing on the way.
She was predeceased by her stepbrother Floyd Fritchman.
