Mary Jane DeLong, 85, a resident at The Lutheran Home of Topton, formerly of Allentown, died Aug. 11, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born July 23, 1928, in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Pearson) Koch.

She was a waitress at the former Peter Pan Diner, Allentown, for many years.

Her survivors include children Dianne M. Huber, wife of David of Germansville, Barbara L. Wambold, wife of Ronald Sr. of New Tripoli, Ronald K. DeLong of Slatington, Kermit E. DeLong Jr., husband of Elaine, of New Tripoli, Kathleen M. Fetherold, wife of Daniel, of Germansville, John M. DeLong, husband of Patrice, of Germansville; brothers, Edward, Normal, Earl, Richard and Frank Koch; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by seven siblings.
