Ethel E. Stibitz, 90, formerly of Schnecks-ville, died Aug. 13, 2013, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Carl W. Stibitz.

Born March 29, 1923, in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Matilda E. (Schuler) Neifert.

A graduate of Delano High School, Class of 1941, and the Cooper Hospital School of Nursing, Camden, N.J, she was a registered nurse at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, the Order of the Eastern Star, formerly Slatington Chapter 458, now Rose Croix 235, and Lady Lilly Best Rebekah Lodge 222, Schnecksville.

Her survivors include a son, Mark C. and his wife, Anne of Schnecksville; daughter, Martha E. Harris and her husband, Greg, of Arlington Heights, Ill.; grandchildren Meghan, Caitlin, Kristi and Alicia; and great-grandchildren, Olivia and Aidan.
