Upper Macungie Twp. Police

Iced tea stolen

from garage

Upper Macungie Township police say Charles Reed and Daniel Zeroka, who rent a garage together, reported two car batteries, a hand truck and five small bottles of Lipton iced tea were stolen sometime overnight Aug. 3 from an unlocked garage at 7613 Tilghman St., Upper Macungie.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to call police at 484-661-5911.

Charges pending

against woman

Police say criminal mischief and trespass charges are pending against Tamara McGill, 28, of Allentown, after she arrived at Bimbo Bakeries USA, 7377 William Ave., Upper Macungie, 1:30 p.m. Aug. 10 to allegedly confront her child's father.

Police say the man she was attempting to contact refused to speak with or see her.

McGill was allegedly seen to have banged on the front door of the business with such force it shattered a double-pane glass door.

McGill, who was banned from the property because of a similar incident, fled prior to police arrival.

Tools, parts stolen

from vehicles

Police say at approximately 2 a.m. Aug. 4 a white extended cargo van was seen in the parking lot at Hannabery Electric Inc., 200 Schantz Road, Upper Macungie.

Police say the driver of the van drove up to different vehicles in the lot and broke into them.

More than $19,000 worth of tools, parts and air conditioning units were stolen.

Doors, trim stolen

from Pulte home

Police are investigating a theft, which occurred sometime between Aug. 2-5, of two interior doors and a decorative trim piece from an unfinished Pulte Home in the 8000 block of Starling Road, Upper Macungie.

Companies cited

for false alarms

Infinity Insurance was cited 5:46 p.m. Aug. 2 for having four or more false alarms within the past 12 consecutive months at 7310 Tilghman St., Upper Macungie, police say.

In a separate incident, Continental Automotive Systems Inc., 6755 Snowdrift Road, was cited at 4:34 p.m. Aug. 4 for having four or more false alarms within the past 12 consecutive months, police say.

Driver arrested

for DUI

Police say Shawn Haas, 52, of Breinigsville, was stopped for allegedly running a red light 12:34 a.m. Aug. 3 on Schantz Road at Route 100, Upper Macungie Township.

Police allege Haas showed signs of intoxication. He was arrested for driving under the influence.

Charges were filed before District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie.
