Ethel McCay, 94, formerly of Allentown, died Aug. 9, 2013, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Woodrow L. McCay.

Born in Ashley, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Smith) Tinner.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, where she was a member of the Lay Fellowship and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her survivors include a son, William W. and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Orefield; daughter Ethel G. Wisser and her husband, Gary of Kempton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
