Join Environmental Educator Jennifer Brooks 10 a.m. Aug. 31 as she investigates the fascinating and not-so-common aquatic critters who call the quarry lake at Hunsicker's Grove their home such as freshwater jellyfish and mussels. Participants should prepare to get wet. This program is best suited for families with children ages five through 13. This event is free of charge but registration is requested. Registration deadline is Aug. 24. The event will be held at Hunsicker's Grove, 9350 Longswamp Road, Longswamp Township. This program is presented by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department.
