David A. Borger Sr., 57, of Whitehall, died peacefully July 22, 2013, at home.

He was a son of the late Merritt and Eleanor "Dollie" (Schultz) Borger.

A 1973 graduate of Whitehall High School, he was a pre-stressed concrete inspector for Penn-DOT.

An avid bowler at The Rose Bowl, he was a junior bowling coach for many years and member of the ABC Tour.

His survivors include sons David A. Jr. of Orefield and Ryan M. of Whitehall; brother Donald; and faithful companion Lucky.

He was predeceased by infant sister, Dawn.
