Menchie's Fundraiser for the Salisbury High School Cheerleaders all day. Take a flyer to Menchie's Menchie's Shops at Cedar Point 353 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. and 20 percent of each purchase will be donated to Salisbury High School Cheerleading. Forms can be found on the school website www.stsd.org.
Aug. 10
A community breakfast will be held 8 to 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, 18103. The menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, toast, English muffins and hash browns, coffee, tea and juices. There is a suggested donation which will benefit the 275th Anniversary Committee. The 275th anniversary year of the church will be celebrated in 2016 and the committee is preparing a slate of events for that year, as well as various events in the years leading up to the anniversary. The Lehigh County TRIAD invites its members, friends and the public to its opening meeting of the 2013-2014 season at Emeritus of Allentown, 1545 Greenleaf St., Allentown, 8 a.m. A representative of the Goodwill Keystone Area will present information on the multitude of services for individuals with disabilities in the Lehigh Valley as well as across their 22 county service area.
