A 23-year-old Lower Macungie Township man died after the vehicle he was driving struck a tractor-trailer at 10:46 a.m. July 26 on Route 100, in the area of Industrial Drive, Upper Macungie Township.

Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim said Steven Winkler, of 2200 N. Pewter Drive, was pronounced dead at 11:20 a.m. last Friday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Grim ruled Winkler's death an accident due to blunt force injuries to his head sustained in the crash.

Upper Macungie Township police are assisting with the investigation.
