Edward W. Hartman Jr., 58, of Lehighton, died July 27, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born April 19, 1955, in Valley Forge, he was the son of Edward W. Hartman of Lehighton and the late Jeannette F. (Snyder) Hartman. He was the stepson of Doris (Cunfer) Hartman.

He was a truck driver for SMP Trucking Co., Phillipsburg, N.J. for several years.

Prior to that, he drove truck for the former Hartman Trucking, Kuhns-ville.

His hobbies included photography, reading, spending time with his dad and making trips to Glen Onoko Falls, Jim Thorpe.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

In addition to his father and stepmother, he is survived by a sister, Kathy C. Hughes and her husband, Michael, of Slatington; nieces, Lindsay and Samantha; and great-nieces, Katelyn and Breanna.

His service will be private. There will be no calling hours.
