Susan Eckhart of Laurys Station was presented the Sister M. Priscilla Sapp Award at the University of St. Francis 2013 Student Convocation, Joliet, Ill.

This award is presented to the registered nurse student who has earned at least a 3.75 grade point average and has the highest average among the registered nurse graduates.

It recognizes recipients for their academic achievement while maintaining full - or part-time employment as registered nurses.

The award honors the memory of Sister M. Priscilla OSF, M.Ed., R.N., the former Director of Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.
