The 1803 House, in Emmaus, is the recipient of a $1,000 award from the 3M Foundation in St. Paul, Minn. as a part of the 3M Community Volunteer Award program. Judy Parker, current vice-president of the 1803 House Board of Directors is a 3M retiree and eligible for the award. Parker was nominated by Richard Farmer, 1803 House board president, with supporting letters from Laura Fetzer, board secretary and Parker's colleagues in other organizations where she serves as a volunteer.
