The YWCA of Bethlehem will hold its 86th Annual Business Meeting at noon August 15 at Green Pond Country Club, 3604 Farmersville Road.

The event is open to the public. The cost includes a luncheon and keynote address by Karen Green, Dean of Students at Muhlenberg College, three community awards and five staff recognition awards. Attendees can register for the event by calling the YWCA of Bethlehem at (610) 867ext. 101.

Green, who founded Muhlenberg's Gospel Choir "Rejoice", will speak on "21st Century College Women: Opportunities and Challenges." The Volunteer of the Year Award will be presented to Beth Ann Boyer; the Racial Justice Award to Myra Piña, M.D. ; and the Women's Empowerment Award to Erin Monie and Raul E. Gomez of Steelwire Productions. Service awards will be given as follows: five years: Matthew Heydt, Anna Holmes and Melissa Lee; 10 years: Kelly Luckey; and 25 years: Mahboobeh Shekari.
