Driver charged with equipment violation
Upper Macungie Township Police say Henry Sniezek, 47, of Allentown, was stopped for allegedly operating a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker 9:42 a.m. July 15 on Lone Lane at Kraft Drive.
Police allege Sniezek's driver's license requires him to only operate a vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock system. The vehicle he was operating did not have one installed, police say.
Charges were filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie Township.
Power tools stolen
from work truck
Police are investigating the theft of a GPS unit from an unlocked work truck sometime between July 12 and 15 at Atlantic Crane, Inc., 7562 Penn Drive, Upper Macungie Township.
Numerous hand and power tools were stolen after the toolboxes on the rear of the truck were pried open, police say.

Lawn mower
taken from home
Police say a 61-year-old man from 411 Grange Road, Upper Macungie Township, reported at 8:50 a.m. July 15 a yellow Cub Cadet zero turn lawn mower was stolen sometime overnight July 14 and 15.
The chain and pad lock that was securing the lawn mower was cut, police say.

Bicycle rack stolen
off from vehicle
Police say Tom Latzgo, 8360 Willow Run, Upper Macungie, reported at 7:29 p.m. July 11 a Thule bicycle rack was stolen sometime between 3-5 p.m. off a vehicle parked in his driveway.

Apple iPhone 4S reported stolen
Police say Matthew Schantz, 100 block of Robert Drive, Upper Macungie, reported an Apple iPhone 4S was stolen from his unsecured vehicle 2 p.m. July 7.

Man charged with disorderly conduct
Police responded 9:04 a.m. July 13 to a report of a disorderly man in the parking lot of the Iron Run Motel, 6530 W. Tilghman St., Upper Macungie.
Upon arrival, officers located all parties involved and discovered a resident of the inn, Lawrence Rausch, was allegedly yelling profanities and being disorderly to another resident, police say.
Police allege Rausch also behaved in an aggressive manner toward the other resident.
Rausch is being charged with disorderly conduct, police say.
