On Sunday, Aug. 4, St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Coplay will hold its annual picnic and homecoming noon-10 p.m. on the church grounds at Fifth and Coplay streets.

Plan to attend and interact with neighbors, friends and family from the community. You are certain to enjoy the wonderful musical entertainment provided and the delicious food fare.

Games of chance and fun for the kids will also be on hand.

This is always a fun celebration. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the festivities!

The Whitehall Zephyr Football Club is holding a yard sale 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, July 27, in the Whitehall High School parking lot.

Anyone who wishes to donate items can call the football club. Members will come and pick up the items and keep any profits made.

Participants may also bring items to the yard sale to sell and then split the profits with the football club.

Or, rent a table for a fee, sell items and keep the profits.

August is just days away and that means that Musikfest will soon begin. Musikfest runs Friday evening, Aug. 2, through Sunday, Aug. 11.

Although some events require tickets, a large number of free music events are offered.
