Burglary
Reported at Lehigh Country Club, 2319 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, three suspects entered the tennis building and damaged a door while attempting to enter a storage closest between 8:35 and 10:24 p.m. July 9. Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported at Farmers Insurance Group, 6636 Hamilton Blvd., Suite 1, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered the rear of the business, damaged a bathroom handicap safety bar and fled. Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Theft from motor vehicle
Reported in the 2600 block of Fieldview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a Garmin GPS device and an iPhone car charger, total value of approximately $180, taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway between 2 p.m. July 13 and 9:30 a.m. July 14. Reported in the 7600 block of Crane Crossing, Lower Macungie Township, various items taken from the glove box in an unlocked vehicle overnight June 25.
Reported in the 4800 block of Hemlock Street, Lower Macungie Township, a GPS navigation system, iPhone cable and a gym bag taken from parked vehicle between 5 p.m. July 12 and 9 a.m. July 14..
Reported in the 4400 block of Elm Drive, Lower Macungie Township, a wallet, including credit cards and a driver's license, taken from an unlocked vehicle overnight July 8. While conducting neighborhood interviews police found that a second unlocked vehicle was entered but nothing was taken. Criminal trespass
Reported at a warehouse, 8018 Quarry Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a warehouse which is under construction and cut approximately $3000 worth of copper wire from an electrical box resulting in $7000 worth of damage overnight July 11. The actors then fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Burglary
Reported at Pappa Rossi's Pizzeria, 3851 Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, an unknown actor threw a cinder block through the glass front door, entered the store, searched through the cash register and fled. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
DUI
Zachary Alexander Ring, 25, of Allentown, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped for an alleged traffic violation on eastbound Interstate 78 at mile marker 55.7, Salisbury Township, 12:17 a.m. July 14. Charges to be filed in DIstrict Court 31-1-08.
Theft by deception
Reported at Shell Gass Station, 1915 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, an unknown man passed three counterfeit $50 bills to the cashier to obtain change for the counterfeit bills, 4:08 p.m. June 8. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Theft
Reported in the 1400 block of Shilo Road, Lower Macungie Township, solar lights taken from a yard between midnight and 5 p.m. June 15.
Reported in the 6000 block of Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, two Sharper Image brand speakers were removed from the rear patio between midnight and 9 a.m. July 14. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Criminal mischief
Reported by a motorist at Lower Macungie Road at Meadowview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, headed westbound when a milkshake struck the driver's vehicle 11:55 p.m. July 14.
Reported by a resident in the1800 block of Pembrooke Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actor wrote "Make love, not fences" on no trespassing signs, valued at $20, overnight July 13.
DUI
Lauren Ann Moore, no age given, of Gilbertsville, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol after a stop for an alleged traffic violation on Chestnut Street at Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, 11:25 p.m. June 27.
Juliet Marie Niemeier, 19, of East Texas, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after an alleged traffic stop on Buckeye Road at Buckeye Pipeline, Upper Milford Township, 2:38 July 10. Niemeier was transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center where a legal blood draw was conducted. Neimeier was found to be in possession of items in violation of ACT 64.
Geoffrey Randall Hoffman, 30, of Ormond Beach, Fla., was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after an alleged traffic stop for multiple traffic violations on State Route 29 at Interstate 78, Salisbury Township, 12:35 a.m. July 3. Charges to be filed in District Court 31-1-08.
Terry W. Frederick, 59, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on State Route 222 at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:27 p.m. June 28.
