Marianna C. Dolan, 77, of Whitehall Township, died suddenly July 22, 2013, in Reston, Va., while visiting with her family.

Born in Allentown to the late Joseph and Margaret (Molchany) Tognoli, she was the wife of Robert K. Dolan for 51 years at the time of his death on Aug. 29, 2008.

She was a devoted member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall, and The Golden Agers.

She enjoyed being a member of the Penn Coachman RV Association and traveling in their motor home.

A 1954 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic, earlier in life she worked in the financial offices of Mary MacIntosh Laundry and Lighting Fixtures and Supply, both in Allentown.

Her survivors include a daughter Patrice A. Kantz and her husband Manfred of Allentown; sons Robert J. and his wife Wendy of Catasauqua, Jeffrey J. and his wife Robin of Kutztown, Joseph W. and his wife Eileen of Leesburg, Va.; grandchildren Robert Jr., Ryan, Erin, Joseph Jr., and Madison; great-grandchildren Katie and Jamison; sister Rosemarie A. Shafer, wife of David Frederick of North Whitehall; and brother Joseph Tognoli and wife Sylvia of North Catasauqua.

She was predeceased by a grandson Matthew.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. July 27, in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave. Whitehall.

Viewings will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, both in Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, across from the church.

Interment will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Whitehall.
