Mother Nature showed her capricious side this past Earth Day by producing an overcast drizzle that did nothing to dampen the spirits of Chesterbrook Avademy preschool kids who happily participated in the release of 1,500 ladybugs into the world. The Valley Center Parkway school's staff spent the week teaching the kids about ladybugs and how they eat aphids and other tiny insects that are harmful to gardens, plants and shrubs.
