Fire calls

July 6

· Stations 5, 35 and 38 provided mutual aid to the Coplay Fire Department for an automatic alarm at 257 S. Second St., found to be burnt food, 2:37 p. m.

· A motor vehicle accident with injuries and a rollover where there was first thought to be entrapment on MacArthur Road southbound, 200 feet before Columbia Street, brought out Stations 36, 38 and 40, 8:14 p.m.

July 7

· A mulch fire on the Walmart parking lot, 2601 MacArthur Road, brought out Stations 35 and 37, 2:48 p.m.

· Stations 35 and 37 responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries and spill at Schadt Avenue and MacArthur Road, 3:09 p.m.

· A mulch fire at 1230 Fairmont St. brought out Stations 36 and 37, 4:34 p.m.

· A fire alarm at Building 35 Parkview Gardens, found to be in Apt. 8 with burnt food on the stove, brought out Stations 35, 36, 37 and 38, 7:22 p.m.

July 8

· Stations 35, 36, and 37 responded to a fire alarm at Young's Music Store, 283 Fifth St., found to be a faulty detector, 8:27 p.m.

July 9

· A reported motor vehicle accident on Route 22 westbound at MacArthur Road was found to be Route 22 eastbound at Cedar Crest Boulevard, requiring no response from Station 36, 7:52 a.m.

· A motor vehicle accident with injuries on Overlook Road near Forrest Road brought out Station 36, 5:32 p.m.

· Stations 35, 36 and 37 and an investigative team responded to a reported working garage fire at 604 Grape St., 10:37 p.m.

July 10

· A rescue of a cat stuck in a tree on Quarry Street near Quigg Street brought out Station 38, 6:37 p.m.
