The Coplay Town Watch Properties of Merit is getting ready for the 2013 contest.

Properties of Merit awards are tentatively set to be presented at a reception Oct. 12 at Samuel Owens Restaurant in Coplay.

Nominations for properties to be considered must be made by July 20.

Once the properties have been nominated, ballots will be printed and ballot boxes will be placed at 10 business locations in Coplay.

Voting takes place Aug. 4-25.

The results will be tabulated by Sept. 5.

Additional awards will be given out, along with the Properties of Merit honors, at the reception in October.
