Noyce P. Nester, 94, formerly of Lake Road, Richmond Township, died June 29, 2013, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
His wife of 60 years, Fern Mary (Drumheller) Nester, died June 17, 2002.
Born in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Ida M. (Greenawalt) Nester.
He was employed at Dana Corp., Reading, for 25 years before retiring in 1975.
A member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood, he was a life member of New Ringgold Fire Company.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
His survivors include sons Charles, husband of Barbara Nester of Kutztown, and Richard of Boyertown; daughters Fern, wife of Kenneth Schlegel of Macungie; Ruth Ann, wife of John Kirschner, of Fleetwood, Janet Stein and her companion, Carl Tesche of Bowers, and Donna, wife of Dennis Wanner of Fleetwood; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond, John, Stanton, Newton, Woodrow and Henry; and sisters Mary Koch, Irene Leiby, Mabel Eckroth, Della Shellhamer and Julia Gerber.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, with the Rev. George Kinney officiating.
Interment will be in St. Peter's (Becker's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Molltown, Berks County.
