During the week of June 24, Northampton boys basketball coach Coy Stampone held his youth basketball camp. The camp was attended by over 50 boys entering grades 3-9, and was sponsored by Peters Insurance of Northampton. Current players and Stampone's coaching staff were counselors. Guest speakers were head basketball coach Scott Coval of DeSales, at left, and head coach Jim Walker of Moravian. The camp emphasized fundamentals and featured drills such as ball handling, passing, shooting, defense and rebounding. Prizes were awarded to winners in many competitions and contests.
