Anna Mae Weaver, 71, of Slatington, died June 8, 2013, in her home.

She and her husband Kenneth L. Weaver celebrated 45 years of marriage in October 2012.

Born May 16, 1942, in Emerald, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathryn (Turoscy) Bauer.

She graduated from the former Slatington High School in 1960.

Later, she attended the former Allentown School of Cosmetology where she received her cosmetology license and her teaching license in this profession.

She was a beautician for the former Hess's and was a co-owner of Tony's Beauty Salon, both in Allentown for numerous years.

She retired from Country Meadows, Wescosville, after several years as a beautician there.

She was a longtime member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and spending time with and talking with family and friends.

Anavid Phillies fan, she enjoyed sports.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Frank S.M. Bauer and his wife, Julia, of Coplay; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Charlotte E. Bauer of Slatington; brother-in-law Willard O. Weaver and his wife, Ruth E., of Slatedale; cousins; and family pet companion, Fluffy.

She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas R. Bauer in 1995.
