Herbert A. Jacobs II, 85, of Allentown, died on June 23, 2013, in ManorCare, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Geraldine Jacobs.

Born Dec. 15, 1927, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Laura (Schaffer) Jacobs.

He was a punch press operator and dye setter for Rodale Press, Emmaus, for many years before retiring.

His survivors include a son, Herbert A. III, of Coplay; and grandchildren Herbert A. Bender, Tracy L. Rinker and Jessica L. Jacobs, all of Allentown.

His service will be private. No are no calling hours.
