Frederick L. "Fred" Guth, 93, of Country Meadows, Allentown, formerly of Orefield, died June 18, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Bessie M. (Stettler) Guth who died last August.

Born March 23, 1920, in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Estella L.S. (Focht) Guth.

He was the farm manager at Jaindl Farms Inc., Orefield, for 35 years before retiring in 1998.

Prior to that, he was self-employed as a farmer, welder and fabricator in Walberts.

He was a member of Jordan Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orefield, and the Pa. Dutch Fereinicht Pennsvlfawnish Deitch Fulk Inc.

His survivors include daughters Jean F., wife of Joel C. Masiko, of New Tripoli, Lucille H. Solt of Orefield, Linda H. Grantz of Allentown; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four step- great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Paul F. Sr. and a sister, Margaret A. Ross.
