The Lehigh Valley Chapter 1371 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will take place at St. Peters Lutheran Church community room, 1933 Hanover Ave., Allentown. Lunch will be served noon. A program of interest to all seniors will follow the meal. A brief business session will conclude the meeting. First timers and those wishing to have lunch are asked to call Ken Zeiner at 610-419-0739. There is a cost for the lunch. Those wishing to attend only the program and meeting should arrive 12:45 p.m. Both actively employed and newly retired Federal workers are encouraged to attend and learn how they can help protect their retirement benefits. The Emmaus Garden Club will meet at Faith Presbyterian Church, North Second and Cherokee streets, Emmaus. Barbara Malt, vice president of the Lehigh Valley Audubon Society will speak on "Gardening for Migration." Doors open 12:30 p.m. and the program follows 1 p.m. The public is invited; you do not need to be an Emmaus resident to attend. For additional information, call 610-967-5058.
The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild will meet 7 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. The program will be a back-to-basics Round Robin presented by members of the Guild. Visitors are welcome. For information, visit crazy- quilters.org.
