Two local people were among those who celebrated the reunion of the South Whitehall High School Class of 1941 June 7. A total of 10 graduates plus seven guests marked the occasion. In 1941, a total of 60 students graduated from South Whitehall High, a predecessor of Parkland High School. For the past decade or so, classmates have held a reunion annually. In front are Viola Takacs of Coplay; Faith Gensler, Lillian Trumbauer and Kathryn Helffrich, of Allentown; and Ruby Frankhauser of New Holland, Lancaster County. In back are Stephen Drabic of Whitehall, Roy Kern of Schnecksville, Leroy Sell of Allentown, Warren Creitz of Germansville and Alex Todt, Bristol, Va.
